The Choral Majority

Gospel Choir

Our United in America project brings an important message of unity and community we believe needs to be heard. United in America is an original anthem challenging us all to reach out to our neighbors, find common ground and celebrate our liberty together, to grow a stronger, safer, happier neighborhood, community, state and nation.

We will professionally record the song and create the video of The Choral Majority Gospel Choir & Band, with children’s and youth choirs, kids and young adults with special needs, and guest soloists. The Merrimack Valley and Greater Boston communities will also be featured, showing the many faces of the “hometown” we love.

We are currently applying for grants for the project, but also need your help to bring this vision to reality.

TCM is blessed that most of our 30+ choir and band members donate their time, and we thank God for other ministry and work that’s allowed us to keep every dollar of TCM’s budget going toward our events, equipment and website.

We hope you’ll join us in this mission, first and foremost with your prayers. God is leading us, so we know He will provide everything needed, including strength and health for the work ahead. Thank you for praying!

November 18, 2023 A beautiful evening of fellowship, music, celebration and praise was held at West Congregational Church in Haverhill. Thank you to all who came out and supported our “United in America” music project. Without your love and support, events like this would not be successful and new music like United in America could not be shared.

  • Women of Courage and Conviction Awards Luncheon, 2023

October 21, 2023 The Choral Majority Gospel Choir had the pleasure of being the musical guests at the 28th Women of Courage and Conviction Awards Luncheon by the Greater Boston Section of the National Council of Negro Women.  The mixture of gospel soul music had the audience swaying along and clapping with us; some wanting to join us, including our M.C. for the evening, Paris Alston.

The venue, Venezia in Boston, on the water’s edge, had us feeling like we were on a cruise, listening to great music, enjoying great food and honoring great women. The event celebrated six women in the community, from lawyers, doctors, business owners and non-profits. In attendance was also Boston City council member Ruthvee Louijeune and Massachusetts State Senator Liz Moranda who also spoke and gave citations to each of the awardees.

The Choral Majority opened with the Negro National Anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” We also did a medley of TCM favorite tunes, and our newest piece, United in America. We had much interest from many in the audience, with promises of future events for The Choral Majority Gospel Choir.
